Huntsville, Alabama, [September 26, 2025] – After 29 extraordinary years at the helm of Indoor Comfort Systems, I am announcing a meaningful and exciting transition. Effective October 1st, I will be stepping down from my role as CEO.
This company has been my life’s work. From its humble beginnings to becoming the largest Carrier dealer in Alabama, I am incredibly proud of what we have built together. While I will no longer be leading day-to-day operations, I will continue to serve as the owner and remain deeply committed to Indoor Comfort Systems long-term vision and success. My focus will now shift to strategic oversight and mentorship as the company moves into its next phase of growth.
Leading Indoor Comfort Systems has been the honor of a lifetime. Together, we have grown a woman-owned business into a respected leader in the HVAC industry, built on excellence, integrity, and teamwork. Now, it is time for me to turn the page and embrace a new season-one that allows more time for travel, reflection, and cherished moments with family and friends.
It brings immense pride to announce that Joe Ackerman will be stepping into the role of CEO. For the past 18 months, Joe has served as our Chief Operating Officer and has already demonstrated outstanding leadership. His sharp focus on operational efficiency, cost savings, and team development has positioned us for continued success. I have full confidence in Joe’s ability to lead Indoor Comfort Systems into an even brighter future. To our team, partners, and customers, thank you.
